Start of the 2013 Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky. I particularly like the horse at the end who is almost jumping out of the starting gate.

While we were eating at the Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee I had my 70-200 mm lens on and was able to take pictures of the fish swimming by from my table.

This was my favorite picture that I took because of bright vibrant yellow color on this little guy.

There are a lot of cool things to see inside of the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee.

These statues are plaster replicas of the Parthenon Marbles found in the Naos and are direct casts of the original sculptures which adorned the pediments of the Athenian Parthenon, dating back to 438 B.C. The originals of these powerful fragments are housed in the British Museum in London.

I thought the lighting on these statues was beautiful and had to capture it.

On my recent trip to Nashville, Tennessee the first place we visited was the Parthenon in Centennial Park. The Parthenon in Nashville is a full scale replica of the original just as it was in ancient Greece.

I thought that the texture of the columns and the light shinning between each one made for a beautiful black and white photo.

Photo of the Week: I really love that this tree’s leaves were red, yellow and green all at the same time. Fall is such a beautiful time in Kentucky. I also really like the sun shining through the leaves and the shape that it takes on.

Photo of the Week: This is one of my favorite photos that I took during the fall in Lexington, Kentucky. This tree was right outside of my house. I loved the vibrant yellow leaves with the red lines running through it. I just thought it was really neat.

Photo of the Week: I came out of work one day for lunch and noticed that these birds were coming and taking the red berries in the tree. I thought that it would make for a cool picture so I went and grabbed my camera. I waited for what seemed like forever until this little guy came and sat in the tree. I thought he looked really cool and I liked the red berries all around him.If anybody knows what kind of bird this is please tell me :)
